Job Summary:
The Canvassing Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of canvassing representatives to generate leads, raise awareness of our services, and ultimately drive sales for our roofing company. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, experience in direct sales, and a passion for growing a business through outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassing agents.
- Develop and implement strategic canvassing plans to target neighborhoods and areas with high potential for roofing projects.
- Monitor daily canvassing activities, ensuring productivity, quality of interactions, and adherence to company standards.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure leads are effectively passed off and followed up with.
- Track and report progress of canvassing campaigns to upper management.
- Provide ongoing training and motivation to the canvassing team to ensure success and positive morale.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including permits and signage guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in canvassing, lead generation, or sales management (roofing industry experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with homeowners.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of roofing products and services is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
